If you have a lapse, and you take a cigarette or even just a few drags on one then don’t give up giving up. Quit again immediately. You may have a bad night when you smoke cigarettes again but that need not be an excuse for becoming a smoker again. Stay with your non-smoking plan and keep thinking of yourself as a non smoker.
